Awesome Mom! I so look forward to reading more of the book. I especially enjoyed the explaination of your philosophies of trekking lightly.

Our footprint is what we leave behind, how we have touched others, our dress, our demeanour, our respect for their country and culture. Our obligation is also to ourselves to trod in safe places and to keep ourselves in peak form to ensure many more years of footprinting.

Mostly our footprints fit with our credence and were “gentle” leaving laughter, frivolity, love and understanding in their wake. Other times they were clumsy, heavy, vexed and mistrusting, usually in a humourous way, but sometimes not.

This is amazing! I hope your book moves in and out of exploring this, I mean, your not just talking about travelling, your talking about life!

I'll walk beside you,
