Hi Irene & Rick,
I so enjoy reading your adventures, you have a marvelous sense of humour. Don’t know if you remember me, my name is nicola, we met at Inn Long sreet – back packers.
Anyway, your tales always interest me, Must say I was truly shocked to hear of your mugging in Durban, The crime in south africa has always really affected me (sorry about my spelling, it is past my bed time)
It (the crime) got so bad for me, that I left south africa in October last year. I’m now living in the United Kingdom, and i’m doing really well, will be going to Amsterdam for two weeks next month, so Im rather pleased about that, have you ever been there?
I still get really home sick at times, as i’m sure you do too?
Basically i just wanted to send you a short note to say thankyou for your lovely emails and updates on all the adventures you are both going through. Well done, you guys are the best. Keep up the good work.
