These are some of the comments we hear when sharing our July 2014 to March 2015 travel plans. We’ll admit – the cliché, “biting off more than you can chew” might fit.
Okay – here’s the scoop:
From July 7 to sometime in November 2014 – we will journey through:
Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania (yes, 22 countries)
Why these particular countries?…. Cause we have never been to them!
Then, sometime in November 2014 (to be determined by Europe’s on-set of winter) we will seek out the warmer climes of India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore (all to which we have been before, except Sri Lanka) until mid-March 2015.
As per our usual Modus Operandi, we will write a summery on each country after we experience it!
1) What grabbed or wowed us.
2) The oddest cuisine we sampled
3) Something valuable learned from the culture
To keep up to date on our progress (or lack of) since we travel letting the journey guide us (i.e.- no set schedule), please follow us on our website! Oh, by the way – photos of us may be in the same few shirts for the whole 9 months – as we travel with just carry-on!
